If Jesus Was A Rapper

I truly believe that Jesus fit into the culture of his day. He didn't stand OUT because of his wardrobe; he stood out because of his joyous, uplifting, charismatic nature. So for this cover, I didn't want to put Jesus in a robe, or the common artistic costume we are used to seeing him in. I wanted to show him in contemporary dress, someone you want to hang out with; but most of all, someone who reflects the love of his Father with every breath and action. THAT is what I wanted to show on this cover. A bit of edge, to be sure, but overall, a sense of joy and fun and peace. Something that makes you want to pick up the book.
